max was born in 1975 and already became interested in music at the age of  4 while he was beating his self made drums. playing drums & percussion in diffrent band projects & collecting tons of records from the past and present , gave him once also the motivation to select & play this collection live for the dancefloor.

Since 1993 he has performed as dj and percussionist – mdgroove both at many clubnights & live shows in austria and internationally. In order to work together with different artists he started CLUBCRUISE in 1999, a CLUB ON THE MOVE which creates the ideal platform for various music projects all over the world.

Mag. Michael Schallmayer aka Meikimeik , ist als “head of music” für Komposition, Studioproduktion und die musikalische Leitung der Events zuständig.Jahrgang 78, erhielt er schon als Kind eine klassische Gitarrenausbildung, bis er sich der E-Gitarre, und später mit seiner Band Daddyophonics als Musiker und Komponist dem Funk und (Acid) Jazz verschreibt. Sein Verständnis komplexer musikalischer Harmonien wie die Inspirationsquellen electronic- und worldmusic prägen sein kreatives Schaffen. Bei gemeinsamen Jam-Sessions auf CLUBCRUISE-Events erkennen Max und Meik 2003 den gemeinsamen Spirit und gründen kurz darauf das Independent Musiclabel Clubcruise Music.
Die Label Band, Musikproduktionen, Auftragsarbeiten und eigenen Projekte stehen ganz im Zeichen von Electronic, Disco, Funk, Acid Jazz und Worldmusic.

Georg Barnert was born on 1967 and studied the clarinet at the conservatorium in Vienna and saxophone at the conservatorium in Eisenstadt. He is also a member of the orchestra in the Baden city theatre and has been teaching at the music school on Breitenfurt since 1995.

He has performed with Lena Rotstein, Dhafer Yussef, Lars Hören, Elisabeth Ziernhöld Lyric & Music Project and his own bands: the ‘Georg Barnert Groove Foundation’, King’s Club Funk Unit, Dinner for 2 and the Diana Menezes Quintet.

Bevor sich Michael Steindl a.k.a. Stoney the Flute in der elektronischen Szene von Wien etablierte, studierte er klassische Flöte an einer Wiener Musikschule. Bereits mit 16 Jahren spielte er schon in verschieden Funk Bands, und begann seinen Stil Richtung Jazz und Acid Jazz zu entwickeln. 2002 begann er schließlich auch am Gustav Mahler Konservatorium Jazzflöte zu studieren.Später entdeckte er seine Liebe zur elektronischen Musik und arbeitete sowohl im Studio als auch Live mit namhaften Künstlern der Wiener Elektronik-Szene, wie Shanti Roots, Stefan Obermaier (Vienna Scientists), Mauracher (Fabrique/ Universal Records), Karuan (Sunshine), Rodney Hunter oder Karl Möstl (G-Stone) zusammen. In den Clubs begleitete er mit seinen einzigartigen Jazzflötenimprovisationen zahlreiche DJ ́s wie Scheibosan, Jürgen Drimal, Bionic Kid oder DJ-Kollektive wie Bujaka, Groovebox und Clubcruise. Damit begann eine musikalische Reise, die ihn mit zahlreichen Projekten durch die Clubs und Festivals von Europa sogar bis nach Afrika führte.

Sitzt man Alfons Kammerlander gegenüber, kommt man kaum auf den Gedanken, hinter diesem zwar jugendlichen Charme versprühenden, aber offensichtlich nicht mehr ganz jungen blonden Herren den Urheber des Tapes mit dem Titel »News from Santa Cruz« zu vermuten. So überzeugend klingt die darauf zu hörende Musik nach einem großen, vergessenen Proto- HipHop-Act aus irgendeiner US-Metropole. So überzeugend klingt die Stimme nach Soul und R´n´B aus den Hochzeiten dieser Genres. Doch so amerikanisch der Sound von Al Fonz auch klingen mag, entstanden ist die Kassette in Kammerlanders Haus im südburgenländischen Heiligenkreuz, wo der inzwischen 52-Jährige seit Mitte der 80er Jahre lebt und musiziert. Und zwar nahezu ausschließlich.

Die Wiener Band „de Zamagna“ formierte sich im Jahr 2002 und entwickelte sich konsequent zum Spezialisten für Disco-Covers der 70er und 80er. Anschluss an diese Ära findet das Programm durch aktuelle Nummern dieses Genres, die sich gekonnt zwischen kommerziellen und anspruchsvoll arrangierten Popproduktionen bewegen.

What bonds the five young musicians together, is the mutual ideal that good fun entertainment and good quality danceable music, as it is often not the case in our degree of latitude, should not be a contradiction! “Rack’n’Roll with a lot of soul!”

Man muss nicht “Alejandro“ heißen, um den Rhythmus im Blut zu haben, dachte sich Alexander Strohmaier und begann als 12-jähriger Autodidakt Drums und Percussion zu spielen und mit 18 Jahren in seiner ersten Profi-Band, den “Bänkelsängern“.

Dort mischte man – als Fusion zwischen Caipirinha und Almdudler – Latino-Musik mit Mundarttexten, was geschmackvoller war, als es klingt. Die Jahre und unzählige Kontakte zu Musikern aus Brasilien und Südamerika lockten den Wiener Percussionisten auf die andere Erdhalbkugel. Derart inspiriert fand er in Letieres Leite auch seinen wichtigsten musikalischen Mentor. Seitdem gönnt Strohmaier seinen Handgelenken nur dann eine Schlagpause, wenn er, nicht minder rhythmisch, zu Papier und Farbe greift.
